Why do these bills happen every month?

Seriously! I thought I just paid you! What do you mean overdue? Curses!

Good news is, on Friday, we are completely on track with our bills. And all without starving! Thanks to this being a new year, Lisa is getting paid closer to a livable income. Closer. I still make squat.

Bad news is, those bills keep coming and they refuse to cease until we either pay off our debt or stop using electricity. And as we found out yesterday when we blew a fuse and had 2 hours until it could be changed, we do not function well without our modern conveniences.

Good news is, Bears won Sunday and the NLDS starts tomorrow with all games televised on FOX. No need to leave the house, the Cubs are coming to me! Oh, are the Halos playing on TBS? Can't even make it to a major network, eh? Speaking of the Angels, have you ever seen the episode of The Simpsons with Mike Scioscia? If you haven't you should.

Thats him crouching below an animated Don Mattingly and to the left of Smithers.

Bye!

lol. Well played sir. Hey, congrats to the Chisox. Looks like we may have the opportunity to take down not just 1...but 2 teams from the Windy City this post season! That's if the Cubbies can get by the Dodgers, of course. Furcal is back, and Manny is bashin'. And didja see Derek Lowe's numbers over his last 6 starts? 4-0 with an 0.50 ERA. The Blue Crew may be the surprise team this year. Better hold yer breath!

well, mlb.com lied to me. apparently all divisional series games are on TBS. this is lame.
Furcal is "back". Was that a pun?

Alright...here we go! I'm rootin' for ya', Cubbies...at least against the Doggers.

Wow. That was just sad. Those fans have come to expect the Cubs to lose these games, haven't they? That kinda vibe is gonna kill that team. The loudest they were all night is when they booed at the end of the game.

And what's up with leaving your pitcher in the game after he has given up 7 walks, including walking the bases loaded? Lou didn't even get up a reliever until then. Cubs need a miracle now, I hate to say. They need something to break the jinx. Tonight just played into the fans expectations, and gave the Dodgers the confidence they needed to prove they belong in the play-offs. That jinx will be hard to overcome now. I'm still pullin' for 'em though!

Now, sit back and watch a REAL team, with REAL fans. Bye-bye Blo-sox.

Dang. I hate the Sux. It's particularly galling when the announcers clearly worship them. We'll get 'em Friday. Dang.

Was that REAL team you were talking about with their REAL fans the Red Sox?

Anyway, got pumped too early.
Too many walks and with a pitch count that high, bases loaded, and the heart of the order up... no excuses. Surprising for Dempster though.
We got beat bad. I think its these damn night games.

Big Z is pitching tomorrow and Harden the game after, feeling good about that. Although Dempster struggled today, we still have a strong pitching staff and I think that will make the difference in the long run. Billingsly is decent but we will be taking him down. As for Maddux, this isn't the 90s anymore.

Oh yeah, we do expect it.

I can't really criticize the Angels since I didnt actually see the game, just a pitch by pitch summary. Good luck tomorrow, hope that bullpen isn't tired after that endless 7th.

I should have said heart of the order on base and at bat and coming up.
